Hi,

Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.

After you write the email you will have the option to save to the Drafts. Ideally if it is not saving to the drafts, then you can provide the feedback in the feedback app.

HI,

Open Drafts Folder in Mail App and start a message it will be in drafts until
you send it.

You did not answer the question. How do you save what you have written on an email as a draft? Which button? There is not a visible SAVE AS A DRAFT on the new email window. How do you find it without accidentally discarding it?

I just lost an email that I was working on. It was on the draft and I edited, add more to it, then tried to open a new message, when I went back to the draft the only saved email was about the original draft.

very disappointed! where could I find my last draft?

Drafts are saved automatically. You can test this easily: Start a new message, type something, then simply close the Mail app. Re-open the app, check the Drafts folder, your interrupted message is there.

I just lost part of my draft email that I was working on. It just deleted its self. How do I go back to another saved time when it was there? Is there a way to untype, as in word, and retrieve my message?

Not helpful. I have not found any way to save a draft. Starting in the Drafts folder did not work. Additionally, I'll often want to save a Reply or Forward as a Draft to come back to later, and I have not found a way to do this. I'm really trying to make the App work and be helpful, but I'm about to call it a waste of time.

I just figured out that if I use my Outlook.com email to create an email, the Draft will save. My other account does not seem to allow Drafts. This is not helpful.

I, too, thought I lost my drafts. When I close the email I'm working on the normal inquiry of "do you want to save this" comes up, but after I click "yes" the draft was not in the draft folder. I just found them buried at the bottom with NO DATE attached. As a result all the sorting options based on date created leave the emails at the bottom off screen. Scroll to the bottom and see if your lost email drafts are there.

Now the question is how to get the most recent drafts saved at the top of the queue.
